The term paper can be a summary of a chapter in the textbook we did not teach or will not teach in the classroom. The term paper must be no less than five pages double-spaced with 12 pt font size. Your term paper should include three sections:
1. Introduction In this section, you should give a simple overall description of your selected topic and tell the reader why this chapter is interesting (or not interesting). You should use 1 page for this part.
2. Summary of your selected chapter The summary should be focused on the main points of your topic. Focus on how your topic relates to the atmosphere and weather/climate. Describe what physical processes are important as well as how these processes interact/control your topic. Your goal for this section should be to explain the topic to someone with a basic understanding of the atmosphere/weather but who has no previous knowledge of the topic. You should use 3 pages for this section.
3. Discussions In this section, you should discuss what you have learned about the topic. Examples of this would be relating how the knowledge you have learned about the topic is related to your life or how your understanding of the topic has changed now that you have written this paper. You should write 1 page for this section.
Note: No references/citations are needed for this term paper.
