Importance of tales

This paper is based on the Arabian nights(Selected and edited by Daniel Heller-Roazen, )and Bocaccio’s "The Decameron" (Oxford World’s classics, )for a Comparative Literature Class. A COMPARATIVE APPROACH must be used with EXAMPLES. Compare the topic to the tales discussed in the text.

Discuss Modern Security Threat to the United States

Read a book on any modern security threat to the US. The threat can be a direct threat, (Taliban, Al Qaeda, etc.), an indirect threat, (Hezbollah, the FARC, North Korea etc.), or a potential threat, ( Iran, China etc.).

Come up with a policy recommendation to mitigate the threat and use evidence from the book to support the recommendation. The recommendation may include direct or indirect military action. It may also include economic measures and/or diplomacy.

You may use other sources, but 70% of the sources must be from the book.
