I need to choose a topic that we are studying, so I chose Online Dating (which may need to be even more specific). I need to get my topic approved as well as a thesis statement. I would like your input on narrowing the topic and creating the thesis statement.

I am not a sociologist by any means and do not really care what topic is done. Please go with a topic you either know or are interested in and feel free to take creative initiative. Here are other possible topics: Mate selection, dating violence, or relationship trends & patterns in Canada.

Communication in the initial stages will be crucial as I need to email my prof to get approval on the topic and thesis. Perhaps if you sent me to topics and thesis’s you would find interesting, I will pitch them and get back ASAP.

I do not need an ‘A’ on this paper. I will be happy with a B- so please don’t make it too fancy or wordy, again, sociology is not my major or minor so realistically I shouldn’t be able to write a super good paper on these topics in a 3rd year course.

References need to be a minimum of 12. They can be books or journal articles but please don’t make them too obscure as I am suppose to be using my school’s database and library.
