E-Mail Request for a Letter of Recommendation.

1) (Request) – Ch. 9. P. 274 (9.13) E-Mail Request for a Letter of Recommendation
In addition to considering all the questions on p. 274 in the textbook, pay attention to the points outlined on p. 255, “Making Requests.” Consider what information I would need to have in order to adequately write a letter of recommendation for you (e.g., you could mention some of the highlights of your work experience/extracurricular activities/attributes of your character, etc. that you would like me to emphasize in your letter of recommendation). Of course you’ll need to give me a name/title/company address where I’m to send this letter of recommendation and you may want to specify a deadline for receipt of this letter. The tone, style, and design that you use in your e-mail request to me should be respectful and appreciative of the favor that you’re requesting and the time that I will have to spend responding to your request. The format for this request is an e-mail from you to me, so the document you submit must have Date, To, From and Subject lines. Be certain to include the actual subject for this e-mail request.
