This paper is based on the Arabian nights(Selected and edited by Daniel Heller-Roazen, )and Bocaccio’s "The Decameron" (Oxford World’s classics, )for a Comparative Literature Class. A COMPARATIVE APPROACH must be used with EXAMPLES. Compare the topic to the tales discussed in the text.

Topic:It is said that “tales divert, cure, teach, and save lives” (literally and metaphorically). Selecting two stories of your choice, one from the Decameron and one from the Arabian Nights, explain how these stories, either entertained you, or taught you, or helped you better deal with a pressuring and uncomfortable situation in life. DISCUSS AND GIVE PLENTY OF EXAMPLES.
