The proposal should include these five sections;
1.Provisional title of the project
What is the impact of carers of people living living in dementia
2.The context for your research question – the rationale and theoretical context.
3.Details of several key texts that you have identified on your research area (books/journal articles/grey literature). Explain why they are central to your area of interest. Include full references at the end of the pro-forma, as you would with an essay.
4.Describe the methodology (the type of research you are planning) and explain your research design (including sampling, data collection, data analysis, and a timeline for your project).
5.Explain how you will ensure that your research is carried out ethically, and that you access your data properly.
Your word count should not exceed 2,500 words. Full submission details are in the module guide.
Please make sure that you include as appendicesdrafts of any questionnaires, interview schedules and participant information/consent sheets (these are not included in your wordcount).
