Professional references must be within 5 years. Paper consist of two parts, 2 1/2 pages each. Part 1: explain health problems specific to the adult population, provide supporting evidence, including statistics. Examine causative factors (include physical, social, and psychological factors). Elaborate on consequences of obesity in the adult population. Consider the consequences in terms of physical, social, and psychological effects would be classified as short or long term. Part 2: how would you access the patient’s learning needs. Be sure to consider barriers in you response. What are the expected out comes? Include realistic time frames. What info will you teach the patient and why are you selecting this information? Be sure to consider age, gender, culture, religion preferences and learning styles. How will you evaluate the effectiveness of the teaching?
